Seeberger reporting follows the strict guidelines of the<\/span> Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).<\/b>. By participating in <\/span>the UN Global Compact,<\/b> Seeberger has been supporting the ten universal principles for human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption since 2015. It is the United Nations global sustainability initiative. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Since 2016\/2017, our reporting has also been based on the UN<\/span> Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The<\/span> International Labour Organisation (ILO)<\/b> is a specialised agency of the United Nations. Especially in its core conventions, it formulates international labour and social standards to ensure social justice for a fair globalisation and decent work. This is seen as a central prerequisite in combating poverty. The ILO Standards are the basis of the Seeberger Conditions of Purchase. <\/span><\/p>\r\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row ppi_row_type=”ppi_light_bg” full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column]\n

Validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)<\/h2>\n

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has officially validated our new climate targets, thereby confirming their alignment with the 1.5-degree goal. With this validation, we are committing to clear and measurable climate targets across our entire value chain: <\/p>\n

By 2030, we aim to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • reduce our direct emissions (Scope 1 & 2) by 28%<\/li>\n
  • reduce our emissions in the supply chain (Scope 3) by 17\u202f%<\/li>\n
  • reduce emissions from agricultural sources (FLAG) by 18\u202f%<\/li>\n
  • No deforestation for all relevant raw materials by 2027 at the latest<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    By 2050, we aim to: <\/strong><\/p>\n

      Achieving Net-Zero Emissions (Net Zero)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      reduce our operational emissions (Scope 1 & 2) and indirect emissions (Scope 3) by 90% <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      reduce emissions from agricultural sources (FLAG) by 72%<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      A clear focus on prevention and reduction rather than offsetting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
