There are several companies that offer coffee, nuts and dried fruit. But only one that brings the best qualities from all over the world to Ulm with 175 years of experience, passion and a love of perfection. We at Seeberger celebrated this on July 5, 2019 together with guests from politics and business. The big anniversary celebration took place directly at the company headquarters in the Danube valley.

The ceremony to mark the company’s 175th anniversary reflects the economic importance of our family business for the region. Firmly rooted in Ulm, around 600 employees work with partners from almost 60 countries around the world. An occasion for Baden-Württemberg’s Minister President Winfried Kretschmann to visit the city on the Danube. Alongside Ulm’s Lord Mayor Gunter Czisch and IHK President Dr. Jan Stefan Roell, he was one of the guests and speakers when Seeberger Managing Director Clemens Keller opened the celebrations on July 5. “With our deep-rooted understanding of fair partnerships, we laid the foundation for sustainable management a long time ago, which is more in demand today than ever before. We are proud of this,” says Keller, who, as the third generation of owners, assumed overall operational responsibility as a personally liable partner back in 2001.
RELAXED MIX OF CULINARY DELIGHTS, LIVE COMPANY HISTORY AND SALON MUSIC
Where daily work has revolved around maximum enjoyment since 1844, the palate is naturally also spoiled on this day. Together with our guests, we embarked on an exciting culinary journey through our Seeberger variety, which is no longer limited to nuts and dried fruit. Trend products such as muesli, porridge and fruit balls complete the successful range in the typical orange packaging for the end consumer. In out-of-home catering, we impress with selected coffee specialties and a suitable all-round service. We are one of the oldest coffee roasters in Germany. For corporate customers from the industrial and service sectors, we offer special all-round service packages for all company sizes with state-of-the-art vending machine and vending solutions. Seeberger also provides delicious natural snacks and fresh coffee specialties at workplaces throughout Germany.
Our anniversary celebration began with breakfast and, of course, a Seeberger (anniversary) coffee. The Ulmer Spatzen Choir and the Salontrio Laupheim provided the musical backdrop to the speeches by the speakers. After lunch, the event ended for the public at around 1:30 pm. In the afternoon, our employees also had the opportunity to celebrate 175 years with an anniversary party at the site.
The celebrations were a great opportunity to gain a deep insight into 175 years of company history, which is characterized by courageous and forward-looking decisions as well as a sense of responsibility on both an entrepreneurial and personal level. At least as exciting is the joint look into the future of our traditional Ulm-based company. In summer 2020 at the latest, we will open our Seeberger Genusswelt directly at the site in the Danube Valley to the general public and are already looking forward to welcoming all guests for numerous moments of enjoyment.
